Application Process

Step 1: Document Preparation

4-8 weeks before the application deadline

✔ Academic transcripts and certificates (translated into English if necessary)
✔ English language proficiency test scores
✔ Passport copy
✔ Resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
✔ Statement of purpose or personal statement
✔ Letters of recommendation (if required)
✔ Proof of financial ability to cover tuition and living expenses

Step 2: Online Application

6-12 weeks before the program start date

Complete the online application form on the college’s website.
Pay the application fee, if applicable.

Step 3: Submit Application

6-12 weeks before the program start date

✔ Submit all required application documents through the college’s application portal.

Step 4: Admission Review

Approximately 1-2 weeks

✔ The college’s admissions committee reviews your application.

Step 5: Receive Admission Decision

8-16 weeks before the program start date

✔ If accepted, you will receive an official admission offer letter from the college outlining the terms and conditions of your admission.

Step 6: Accept Admission Offer

Approximately within 2-4 weeks of receiving the admission offer

✔ Sign and return the acceptance letter to the college along with any required tuition deposit to secure your spot.

Step 7: Apply for a Study Permit

As soon as you have the admission offer (ideally 3-4 months before the program start date)

✔ Apply for a Canadian study permit (student visa) through the Government of Canada’s Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website or your nearest Canadian embassy or consulate. Processing times can vary, so apply well in advance.

Step 8: Plan Your Arrival

1-2 months before the program start date

✔ Arrange for accommodation, travel plans, and any other logistics required for your arrival in BC.

Step 9: Attend Orientation

Approximately 1-2 weeks before the program start date

✔ CCC conducts orientation programs for new international students. Attend these sessions to get acclimated to campus life and understand important policies and procedures.

Step 10: Begin Your Studies

As scheduled, on the program start date

✔ Start your program as per the official schedule.
